This is a piece I painted in which the focus was the lighting and the similarities between the subjects. ✨

The objective was to showcase the beauty of Vitiligo, a skin condition, by comparing it to one of the most known and adored animals that are known for its grace and beauty: the koi carps. 🐟 Her light comes from within; she is herself, the fish and the water she stands on. These are multiple depictions of herself.
