Introducing Vertex AI

Vertex AI is one of my finest projects so far. It’s an AI-powered agent designed to solve and explain complex mathematical problems, physics concepts, and logical reasoning challenges. My goal is to build an AI assistant that goes beyond providing answers and helps users understand the underlying concepts through clear, structured explanations.

I built the application using Python, Flask, the OpenAI API, and NVIDIA Build, integrating NVIDIA’s Nemotron Ultra 120B model for AI-powered problem-solving.

The project currently has a few challenges. Response latency from the Nemotron Ultra 120B model is a major bottleneck, and the Markdown rendering pipeline still needs improvement. Both are areas I’m actively looking to optimize.

In the future, I plan to introduce user authentication, model selection, adjustable temperature settings, custom system prompts, and further performance optimizations.

Vertex AI is still a work in progress, but every challenge is an opportunity to learn, experiment, and build something better.

Building this project has been a valuable experience in AI integration, backend development, and designing intelligent applications. This is just the beginning!
