Condensed 2+ hours of footage into an engaging vlog using playful graphics, text effects, and humour while keeping the edit aesthetic and easy to watch.
I edited this vlog for Daniela Ortiz with the main goal of turning over two hours of raw footage into a video that feels easy to watch, entertaining, and full of personality.
The edit focuses heavily on pacing and storytelling, trimming down the footage to keep only the most engaging moments while maintaining a clear flow throughout the vlog.
To keep viewers drawn in, I used a mix of graphics and text effects created in Canva, Premiere Pro, and CapCut. These elements were used intentionally, adding emphasis, context, and humour while still keeping the overall edit simplistic and not overly busy.
A big part of this edit was also leaning into Daniela’s humour and personality, exaggerating funny moments and reactions to make the vlog feel expressive, fun, and true to her style.
