The project belongs to the company that I've been working for the last 3 years.

It was a comprehensive bookstore marketplace where a large catalog of physical and e-books was offered, among a wide range of possibilities and features.

It served a full-fledged purchase process, from adding all the desired products to the user cart, saving wished products, gift-card purchases, managing several payment methods (credit card, bank transferring, Paypal), etc.

In addition, the platform served all the related user account management, book catalog categorized and searchable by a complete range of parameters like author, genre, publication date, language, etc.

Finally, the platform offers blog features, where managers can create their own content. Thematic live events advertisement, newsletter subscriptions, near bookstore searchings, etc.

The project was powered by a robust back-end developed with Django (DRF for API services), which manages a huge amount of features, data and functionalities. Scheduled tasks (using Celery), purchases and user validations, book catalog management, automated email notifications, etc.

The front-end was implemented using React.js technology, maintaining interactions with the back-end through the RESTful API protocol.

It was developed and mantained by the development team in charge, which I integrated for +2 years, and leaded over a year.
