Cart Recovery Email Focused on Premium Conversion

Overview

Designed a cart recovery email concept for Bang & Olufsen’s Beoplay Eleven earbuds, focused on re-engaging high-intent shoppers while preserving the brand’s premium positioning. The email combines product storytelling, feature reinforcement, and subtle conversion cues to guide customers back to completing their purchase without relying on urgency or discounting.

The Challenge

Many cart recovery emails rely on countdown timers, discounts, or repetitive reminders. While effective in fast-fashion or discount-driven markets, these tactics can weaken luxury or premium brands.
For Bang & Olufsen, the challenge was to design an email that:
Re-engages abandoned cart shoppers
Reinforces the value of a high-end audio product
Highlights performance and design features
Encourages completion of purchase without pressure
The experience needed to feel intentional, calm, and brand-aligned.

The Approach

The email follows a reassurance-driven conversion model designed for premium products:
