Comprehensive Automation Framework for Online Banking Platform

Developed and implemented a data-driven keyword automation framework in Quick Test Professional which supports multiple platforms/software applications with a focus on reusability and ease of use for quality assurance analysts/test analysts without a technical background. Also, maintained and supported a modular automation framework including enhancing and updating old automation test scripts

• Accomplished the task of fully automating regression test scripts with backend validation for eight internal or external projects with one automation framework saving time and improving quality.

• Tasked with evaluating each application being used by our business and to automate only the most intricate application or pieces of the application where necessary.

• Collaborated with quality assurance analysts to identify reoccurring and repetitive tasks. Created test scripting that could automate these tasks resulting in more efficient and thorough testing.

• Developed custom scripting to provide automation in situations that testing tools could not cover.

• Worked with application development teams to streamline the application testing and collaborated with the teams to ensure quality within the automated tests.

• Identifies, analyzes, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in the software application’s different functionality areas.

• Created over 200 automated reusable test scripts for a loan application project in Borland’s Silk Test.

• Developed and supported a data repository for a project using SQL Server. Maintained and managed tables in the database that was integrated with the automated test scripts.

• Researched and provided suggestions for upgrades to existing automated testing tools. Lead effort to migrate old and abandoned test scripts.
