Imagine....

a warm, sunny day by the beach, with the salt in the air and the sand between your toes. It's a place where time slows down, and all you can think about is the beauty of the moment. On days like these, we often find ourselves seeking refuge in the familiar tunes of our favorite songs. For me, that song was Shivang's "Water is Blue," a melody that has a permanent place in my heart.

The Spark⚡️

As a designer, I've always believed that art is meant to be experienced in various forms. And it was one of those days, with "Water is Blue" playing in the background, that the spark for the "Water is Blue" merch project ignited. This project was never about profits; it was a heartfelt tribute to a song that had become the soundtrack of my life.

Conceptualization:

Instead of taking the obvious route of incorporating water or the color blue, I decided to tap into the emotions the song stirred within me. I chose the image of flowers, symbols of growth, love, and beauty, to capture the essence of "Water is Blue." The words "you can't stop angel" became the emotional anchor for the design. The phrase is a reminder that we possess an unstoppable, angelic energy within us, and it's this belief that we carry with us as we journey through life.

My initial sketches

From the initial sketches to choosing the perfect colors and materials, the design journey was as sun-soaked as the beach described in the song. Each piece was a tribute to the story behind the lyrics, a reflection of my deep connection with Shivang's artistry.

The Bigger Picture

This project wasn't about commercial success; it was about sharing a piece of my heart with fellow fans of "Water is Blue." The merchandise was designed to be not just an accessory but a reminder of the emotions and memories the song evokes.

Conclusion

"Water is Blue" isn't just a song; it's a journey through sun-soaked days, beachside memories, and the feeling of being alive. Through this project, I aimed to bridge the gap between the melodies that touched my soul and the tangible world. It's a testament to the magical synergy of music and design, and it's meant to be casual, friendly, and inclusive—just like that perfect sunny day at the beach.
