The Scholar Lead Program leverages peer mentorship to improve persistence outcomes among Scholars and ensures academic and social success for first- and second-year Baccalaureate Opportunity Scholars. WSOS designed the Scholar Lead Program with a focus on building a community of care and trust between the Scholar Lead and the Scholars they have been matched with. In addition, the program provides information and resources to support Scholars' adjustment to college life.- The Scholar Lead Program prepares Scholars to be future leaders and mentors.- The Scholar Lead Program fosters community among Scholars and Scholar Leads.Add value to local community- Scholar Lead serves as a connection to campus-based and WSOS resources.
