Visual Narrative Composite

The story revolves around three brothers—Don Juan, Don Diego, and Don Pedro—who strive to capture the mysterious Adarna bird, which perches on the tree of Piedras Platas at Mount Tabor. Any of the brothers must capture the bird to save their father, King Fernando, who suffers from a sickness and only Adarna can cure the King. Whoever catches the bird and brings it to him will inherit the throne.

Don Pedro and Don Diego tried to hunt the magical bird. Unfortunately, Adarna turned them into a stone. The youngest Don Juan, successfully caught the bird and helped his two brothers to be human again.

However, Don Pedro and Don Diego betray Don Juan. They steal the Adarna and almost kill their brother, leaving him trapped in a well. Luckily, Don Juan’s strength returned. He has been healed by the poor old man he helped in the mountain. He came back to the Kingdom of Berbania.
