What I did
Sole designer. I designed the action layer — state models, multi-role
workflows, roles and permissions, and the action triggers that let agents
propose and execute tasks while humans stay in control. I presented new work
daily to the CEO, project managers and engineers.
How I sequenced the AI
I used a three-tier AI automation maturity framework to decide where
automation stops and agentic judgment begins.
· Tier 2 — shipped in production, where the decision surface was narrow
enough to trust
· Tier 3 — architected, deliberately held back. Audit trails and
permission scopes had to mature before removing human review was safe
Results
· ~40% improvement in SLA compliance
· ~40% increase in throughput
· ~30% reduction in operational delays
· ~35% reduction in manual validation effort
