The owner of Jefe's Mexican Restaurant in Oklahoma wanted to upgrade away from their old WordPress website to something new that will improve SEO and encourage users to place an order or inquire for the other services he provides.
I created a mockup in Figma based on his requirements and examples he liked and after approval, I coded it with only the core technologies of the web. No page builders or WordPress.
Every SEO expert knows that it can take some time for a website to rank properly. After 9 months on being on the web with the new website I built for him, he now ranks #3 on Google for his targeted keywords. This is coming from being on the 8th page with a boring template site. Also good to mention that his site scores perfectly across Lighthouse. This website is an early achievement of mine and helped me land a contract role for an agency based in Seattle.
