A fully handcrafted stop motion music video created for the musician Witchz.
Every element in this video was built from scratch: the characters, the sets, and the world they inhabit. The figures are constructed with 20-gauge steel wire armatures, plastic body shells, oven-baked clay heads, painted bead eyes with gloss finish, and silicone hands on 26-gauge wire for finger articulation. Pipe cleaners between joints allow for maximum movement range.
The production process covered:
Character design and fabrication from wire armature to finished costume figure
Set design and construction to match the tone and world of the track
Frame-by-frame stop motion animation shot and assembled into a cohesive music video
Voice acting and sound design layered into the final edit
This was a passion-driven project combining stop motion animation, costume figure design, music production, and voice acting into a single piece.
