First established in 2017 to allow participants in Web3 to stake on Proof of Stake (PoS) blockchains, RockX is a pioneer in blockchain staking technology and has always been dedicated to innovation and improvement. Over the years, we have implemented many changes and upgrades to prove this dedication. Today, we would like to share some of the enhancements enacted in Q4 2023.

At the end of October 2023, RockX announced support for Wallet Connect for ETH native staking as well as for liquid staking on Bedrock. Wallet Connect supports all major wallets such as Metamask, Trust Wallet and more, and is available for Ethereum and all EVM chains offered by RockX.

This implementation provides RockX users with a secure and convenient way to participate in staking by allowing them to access their staking rewards and manage their assets easily. Users will greatly benefit from Wallet Connect’s simplicity and ease of staking as well as the wide variety of Web3 wallets it supports.

As of Q4 2023, RockX has implemented staking support for the Ethereum Holesky testnet. Users may now use testnet tokens to stake on the Ethereum Holesky testnet, which mimics the Ethereum mainnet environment more accurately than other testnets such as Goerli or Sepolia. Holeksy testnet tokens may be freely obtained from any Holesky testnet faucet.

An interactive tutorial will be available at the start of 2024.

As a result of RockX’s continuous innovation and commitment to excellence, we have seen growth in RockX’s staking TVL and total ETH staked. As reflected on RockX’s Dune dashboard as of December 2023, RockX has 337,024 ETH staked across our 10,533 validators, bringing us to a total of TVL of $730,637,700 at current ETH prices.
