It seemed unlikely - impossible, even - but somehow, they fell in love. They didn't understand it very well back then, but if you were to ever ask them when they fell for each other, both Dakota and Corbin could paint you a picture of the exact moment they became enamored with one another, right down to the smallest of details.
They understood each other on a spiritual level and trusted each other blindly despite never actually admitting it. The two shared a bond no one else could hope to understand.
They were partners in crime, a nearly unstoppable duo with capabilities like no other. Soulmates destined to fight together and die together; partners until death cruelly tore them apart.

I used the opportunity to make a brief prompt about soulmates who are tragically killed, I used my story as inspiration for it.
