Group project of the master’s degree UX/UI Design, ESDI. Build a new app in partnership whit Spotify that offers a personalized community based on recommendations.

Research 🔎

In 2021, Spotify listeners spent 78% more time listening to podcasts than the year before. Its monthly active podcast users overall grew 19% year-over-year. Spotify is the No. 1 platform at 24% of weekly podcast consumers.
Average listening time in a week is 7 hours
80% of people listen to podcasts while commuting
70% listen while doing housework
65% of listeners use smartphones/tablets
74% of people listen to podcasts to learn new things
26% listen for entertainment, relaxation, inspiration etc.

The Challenge 🎯

Build a new solution for podcast users
Objectives: Offer a feasible, desirable, and viable option on the podcast market
Research question: Identify and understand the needs of people who listen to podcasts

We start the process of ideation in order to found a solutions for our users, trying with several techniques of brainstorming, Alter ego, What if...?, Team storming.

In a first stage we create prototypes wireframes in Figma, and immediately testing in the interviews with the users.

Iteration ⚙️

In this part of the project, we are iterating and testing the high-fidelity prototype in several interviews with the users. Process still in progress.
