Researchers have developed distinguishers to differentiate between a cipher and random data and to identify encryption schemes used during communication. With advanced computing resources, researchers have explored ML applications in cryptography, focusing on protecting multimedia data through various encryption methods and improving cryptanalysis techniques using deep learning.
