Remember <name>, In the email before,
I shared my excitement about completing the 10 kms jog thinking I did something heroic, but in reality..
I didn’t realize how much I f*cked things up.
Immediately after returning back home, I started hobbling a bit.
Thinking it was just muscle soreness,
I continued with my tasks and settled into the chair, although the second I stood…
My soul bawled its eyes out.
My left foot felt like it might go cracking down.
Hopping like a rabbit, I hurried to fetch the ice-pack for some relief.
“Man,” I murmured to myself with a smile,
“I f*cked up on this one a little too bad”
While shifting the ice-pack from paint-points to pain points, I started thinking…
“Was this really worth it?”
And within a few thoughts here and there, I found a valid answer…

It’s a marathon they say, not a sprint.. And I see no lies in there.
