Was part of Denmark's first Snapchat AR campaign on OOH.
Lidl celebrating its 15th anniversary! As part of their birthday campaign, a portion unfolded in an exciting media mix where outdoor and social media were connected via AR on Snapchat. AR added an extra layer to the campaign, giving the user an experience and the chance to win a Kia Ceed Plug-in Hybrid.
On Lidl's posters, a Snapchat QR code was placed (Open Snapchat, scan the code, and be surprised). When the code is scanned with a smartphone camera, a spectacular birthday party appears with falling flags and a Kia Ceed bursting through the glass of your smartphone.

As the first in Denmark, we at Wavemaker Denmark, together with Lidl Denmark, Clear Channel Scandinavia, Purple Scout, and Snap Inc., developed this Snapchat Marker Lens. With Snapchat's AR Marker Lens, the traditional outdoor poster comes to life and does what Lidl Denmark does best, namely #LidlSurprises.
