Matt approached me to turn his Figma based designs into HTML and CSS templates (with a light sprinkling of JavaScript) - for use in their final website.
At the point of delivery, the website is still static HTML, CSS and JS - with a little PHP for form processing.
Introduction
Matt was introduced to me by a close friend, whos agency was at capacity at the time.
Matt required a quick turnaround, within a given budget.
The project brief included 'deliver clean, intrinsically responsive code'.
We completed a short introductory call, then once Figma designs were provided, questions and feedback were conducted via Figma's commenting tools.
Process
I am based in the UK, where as Matt is in Ohio, USA. This however proved less of a barrier and more of an advantage.
Our workflow was cyclical - with me working during UK evening hours to cross over with Matt - then him using my off hours to review the work and provide feedback.
All communication, aside of an initial discovery call, as asynchronous and conducted via email.
The work was maintained on GitHub, and presented to the client via a staging site hosted on Netlify.
At the end of the project, all deliverables were provided as a zip archive.
The final product was delivered inside 14 days (and completed in evening and weekend hours due to my times contraints) with minimal amend runs thanks to Matts great design and strong preparation.
Testimonial
"Thank you for the quick turnaround!
It’s been a pleasure working with you on this project, and I really appreciate your approach to coding and professionalism. I’d be thrilled to keep a steady stream of projects going with you, and I’m confident we’ll have more work together in the future."
