Mondra – Framer Template Design & Development

Overview: A Framer template designed to showcase retreats through rich visuals, CMS-powered pages, booking flows, and elegant theming.

My Role: Sole designer, developer, and project lead

Timeline: ~2 months of continuous iteration

Challenge: Design a standout visual and functional template that meets Framer’s high-quality standards in a competitive niche

Conducted competitive analysis on top travel and luxury retreat websites (e.g., boutique resorts, Airbnb Luxe, wellness brands).

Identified key traits: immersive visuals, storytelling-rich flow, consistent grids, refined interactions.

Used feedback directly from Framer and trusted creators to guide iteration.

Referenced UX design guidance on hierarchy, spacing, and interactive polish

Audit Round 1: Identified weak sections, poor typography usage, and lack of visual consistency.

Phase 2 Redesign: Introduced new fonts, spacing system, grid rules, and updated hierarchy.

Visual Enhancements: Added full‑screen hero image with appear effect, customized “What You’ll Experience” component.

Dark Mode Integration: Built system-toggle support; refined colors, contrast, and cards for both modes.

Feedback Loops: Sourced peer feedback and multiple review submissions.

Final Touches: Added hover states, testimonials grid, FAQ, service clarity, and booking CTA flows.

Community Feedback: Shared with established Framer designers who confirmed it felt “marketplace-ready.”

Skill Growth: Deepened understanding of visual hierarchy, mode theming, responsive design, and UX polish.
