Protection and promotion of children’s rights are the foundation of human rights law; however, there are challenges concerning ensuring this protection. A dissertation might consider how effective UK policies have been in, for example, education,
child poverty, or the protection of children from abuse and exploitation. In addition, you can consider the children in care rights, the effects of digital technologies on children’s privacy, or where children’s rights intersect with family law. Timely and impactful, this research area is evolving, considering changing societal and legal challenges.
