CrawlBrief — self-initiated software demonstration, not client work.
An offline Python utility turns a supplied website crawl CSV into a readable HTML repair queue. The fictional sample contains four unique URLs and produces seven observations covering HTTP errors, title issues and missing editorial fields. Each includes a URL, triage priority and suggested action.
The utility uses only Python’s standard library, with no uploads or telemetry. It validates required columns and HTTP statuses, deduplicates identical URL rows, escapes report HTML and applies editorial checks to eligible indexable HTML rows. Limits: 10 MB and 50,000 unique URLs; Python 3.11 or newer. Six automated checks passed and the packaged fictional example was independently executed.
It reads the export; it does not crawl, verify live pages, audit accessibility/security or guarantee rankings. Built and operated with AI assistance. No paid-client results claimed.
