Arsenal x SOCIOS Illustrations

Working with Arsenal FC’s partnership team, I was commissioned to create two illustrations that commemorate iconic moments inArsenal’s 2022/23 season. Both illustrations were then uploaded onto their partner, Socios’, platform for token holders to vote on their preferred moment. The moments selected were Reiss Nelson’s 97th minute winner vs. Bournemouth and Jorginho’s 92nd minute winner vs. Aston Villa. 

The creative of the brief left it up to me to get the feeling of the moment across, with the only requirement being at least 3 players per piece.I decided the best way to tie both pieces together was a loose similarity in type usage, while letting the moments live on top.
