Intro Page Design [Berry Red] basic

Overview

This landing page was designed as an expressive portfolio experience for a creative working across writing, visual design, landing pages, and motion. The goal was to move away from a standard portfolio layout and create something that felt more editorial, tactile, and memorable.
Instead of using a typical hero section and project grid, the page introduces the creator through a warm visual system: typewriter-inspired typography, soft pink cards, deep red accents, curved arrows, and draggable collage elements.

Goal

The main objective was to create a landing page that immediately communicates creative taste and visual direction.
The page needed to:
Feel personal and distinctive.
Showcase multiple creative capabilities.
Use the reference aesthetic without copying it directly.
Feel interactive, not static.
Work as a focused one-page portfolio.

Visual Direction

The design is inspired by editorial moodboards and handmade creative layouts. A warm off-white background gives the page softness, while deep red accents create energy and contrast.
The typography combines two moods:
A typewriter-style monospace for clarity, writing, and structure.
An expressive serif for editorial polish and personality.
This pairing helps the page feel both thoughtful and visually crafted.

Design Approach

The main section uses a collage-style layout instead of a traditional services grid. Cards are slightly rotated and layered to create a sense of movement, like pieces arranged on a creative desk.
Each card highlights a different capability, including content writing, copywriting, landing pages, and design. The cards are draggable, giving the page a playful interactive layer while reinforcing the hands-on creative feel.
A central mockup anchors the composition and connects the collage back to landing page design.

Structure

The page is organized into four main parts:
A concise opening statement that introduces the creator’s creative focus.
An interactive collage showing services and visual capabilities.
A selected projects section with a cleaner card grid.
A bold red contact footer that closes the page with a strong editorial moment.
This structure balances expression with clarity. The top of the page feels exploratory, while the lower sections become more direct and practical.

Outcome

The final landing page feels polished, personal, and visually specific. It communicates creative range without relying on a generic portfolio template.
The page itself becomes a proof of concept: it demonstrates the creator’s ability to shape words, visuals, and interaction into a cohesive experience.
