Mining Scan is an independent DC ESCRYPT data platform for bringing fragmented cryptocurrency mining information into a structured, searchable interface.
The business problem
Mining data is spread across pool APIs and inconsistent public pages. Users need a clearer way to compare pools, inspect operational signals, and understand how fresh the data is without manually reconciling every source.
My role
I worked as Founder and Backend Systems Architect. I designed the integration model, normalized external data, built the API and monitoring flows, and shaped the public directory and comparison experience.
Architecture and technologies
External pool API integrations
Python backend and REST API patterns
Data normalization across different pool schemas
Freshness indicators and blockchain cross-checks
JSON and CSV export paths
Public web directory, comparisons, and profitability calculations
Implemented functionality
Tracks pool hashrates, miners, fees, payout schemes, and block activity
Presents pool comparisons and structured directory data
Exposes data for programmatic use through API and export formats
Surfaces data freshness instead of hiding stale or unavailable values
Provides a profitability-calculation workflow based on the available data
Verified outcome and status
The public platform is available at https://mining-scan.com. The cover is the current public Mining Scan project asset. The case study describes the platform and its data-delivery functionality without making revenue, customer, uptime, or performance claims.
