With the sport of climbing being included in the Olympics, it has seen a meteoric rise in both national and international attention. To build upon this interest, USA Climbing is building a new state-of-the-art rock climbing gym in Salt Lake City, Utah in order to give its athletes and surrounding community a dedicated home to train all year long.

I was brought on as the motion designer for USA Climbing’s promo video. A high-energy piece featuring images of triumph, community, and camaraderie layered with on-brand duotone colors, bold typography, and gritty textures that spotlight the sport’s toughness and tenacity.
