Case Study: High-Converting Landing Page for a Life Coach's Personality Test
Overview
One of the most powerful tools for any coach or personal development brand is a well-designed landing page that effectively captures leads and builds trust. I recently worked on a landing page for a life coach offering a free personality test. Due to confidentiality, I’ve modified the brand elements, imagery, and copy while maintaining the original structure to showcase my design expertise.
The Challenge
The client needed a landing page that would:
Increase sign-ups for their free personality test
Establish credibility and trust with their audience
Clearly communicate the benefits of taking the test
Encourage visitors to take action without overwhelming them
They had an existing structure but needed a visual refresh to align with their brand while ensuring an intuitive and engaging user experience.
My Approach
Since I couldn’t publicly share the original work, I created a modified version that retains the core layout while revamping the style, imagery, and messaging to protect the client’s identity. The original design was built in Shopify, but for the purpose of showcasing it in my portfolio, I recreated the modified version using Canva. However, my expertise extends beyond these platforms—I can also design and build pages in ClickFunnels or other page builders, as the fundamental principles of conversion-focused design remain consistent across all tools.
🔹 Visual Hierarchy & CTA Placement
I strategically positioned the call-to-action (CTA) buttons throughout the page to maximize conversions. The primary CTA, "Take the Test," is designed with high contrast and repeated at key touchpoints to keep users engaged.
🔹 Clean & Engaging Aesthetic
I refined the page’s design to feel modern, professional, and approachable. The use of bold typography, clean layouts, and well-balanced white space ensures a seamless reading experience.
🔹 Trust-Building Elements
To enhance credibility, I included a section with testimonials from past test-takers, a message from the CEO, and logos of companies the client has served. These elements help reassure visitors that the test is both valuable and scientifically backed.
🔹 Conversion-Focused Copywriting
While I reworked the text, the key messaging remained consistent—highlighting the test’s benefits, emphasizing the personalized insights it provides, and making the next step (taking the test) an easy decision for users.
🔹 Mobile-Friendly Optimization
With a significant portion of traffic coming from mobile users, I ensured that the design remained fully responsive and intuitive on all screen sizes. While the design showcased here represents the desktop version, I carefully optimized the layout, interactions, and visual elements to provide an equally seamless experience on mobile devices.

Here’s a look at the final design of the landing page:
A modern and professionally designed landing page for a life coach’s free personality test. The layout is clean, structured, and conversion-focused, featuring a mix of engaging visuals, clear call-to-action buttons, and informative sections.
At the top, a hero section showcases a welcoming image of a woman with bold, compelling text inviting visitors to take the test. A prominent yellow "Take the Test" button stands out for easy navigation. Below, a video section provides instructions for the test, followed by a benefits section highlighting personalized insights, actionable guidance, and scientific backing.
Further down, a CEO message adds credibility, supported by client testimonials with star ratings for social proof. A company logos section showcases past collaborations, followed by a newsletter signup area. The footer includes navigation links and a final CTA button to take the test.
This design ensures a user-friendly experience with a well-balanced mix of content, visuals, and interactive elements.

Results & Takeaways
Although I can’t share direct performance metrics from my client’s campaign, their original design successfully increased lead generation. My modifications showcase my ability to:
