I love typing and have tried tons of different websites. Then I had a thought: maybe I could build my own website where I could keep practicing. And this is where Anything came in handy. This is an AI-powered platform that allows me to build web and mobile applications with just a few prompts. What I like most about it is that I can build and deploy my apps without writing a single line of code. My imagination is the limit. Live website built with Anything →

Firstly, I designed a simple concept by defining what functionality and sections I wanted to have. Later on, this helped me better write prompts and predict the outcome.

The idea is pretty straightforward. When you visit the website, you see a text container with an input field below. Your goal is to type the reference text as fast as possible, trying to avoid mistakes. This led me to the idea that I needed a section where I could view statistics about my typing process, including time, words per minute, and accuracy score.

Also, I decided to add a little customization. A user can choose between short, medium, and large texts, as well as configure the font size.

The final task was to add a Reset button that resets the progress and opens a new text.

The interface of Anything is intuitive: it has a chat area that is intended to collect my prompts and generate a web application, which is then shown on the right. This is pretty convenient, because I can play with the app before publishing it.

Also, I found that you can switch to the code window, where necessary changes can be written manually. Pretty useful feature if you know how React works.

Finally, when everything seemed right, I hit the Publish button and gave it a shot. I like the final result, but I'm already thinking about how to improve it.
