ReTayn - Multi-Tenant Consultant Management Platform

Overview

ReTayn is a multi-tenant SaaS platform built specifically for consulting agencies to track client profitability, project margins, and team utilization in real time. Consulting firms were hemorrhaging revenue on unprofitable clients without any visibility — ReTayn solves this with a live analytics dashboard.

Built entirely on Replit, the app was developed, iterated, and deployed within the Replit environment — from initial scaffolding to production deployment at retayn.replit.app.

The Problem

Consulting firms manage dozens of clients simultaneously, but most have no clear picture of which engagements are actually profitable. Time tracking is scattered across spreadsheets, invoicing happens in one tool, and project costs live somewhere else. The result: firms routinely subsidize their worst clients at the expense of their best work.

Tech Stack

Platform: Replit (developed, tested, and deployed entirely on Replit)

Backend: Node.js with Prisma ORM, PostgreSQL database

Auth: Clerk (multi-tenant, role-based access)

Frontend: React with real-time dashboard components

Deployment: Replit deployment pipeline at retayn.replit.app
