Building DocLingo to Simplify Translation for Everyone
When I started working with international clients, I noticed how frustrating it was to translate documents efficiently. Every platform I tried was either too complex, too expensive, or stripped away the formatting. It felt like something simple, just translating a file while keeping it professional, should not be that hard.
That is why I built DocLingo.
With DocLingo, anyone from small startups to large enterprises can upload, translate, and manage documents in just a few clicks. The goal was to make translation tools accessible without all the friction.
The idea
Most translation tools are designed for linguists or agencies. I wanted to create one built for everyday business needs, where teams can quickly translate reports, marketing materials, or legal documents without worrying about losing structure or tone.
The build
I focused on three key things:
Simplicity: Drag, drop, and get results in seconds.
Accuracy: AI-powered translation that understands tone, whether formal, casual, or technical.
Security: End-to-end encryption and automatic deletion after each translation.
The outcome
Today, DocLingo helps businesses save hours of manual work and communicate confidently across borders. Whether it is a startup localizing its pitch deck or a law firm translating contracts, DocLingo keeps the process fast, consistent, and secure.
What started as a personal frustration turned into a tool that makes global communication simpler for everyone.
