Designers don’t always have the luxury of time when working on a project. This initiative installed in the Power Aisle of Dick’s Sporting Goods was an example of having non-finalized artwork and a lack of dimensional component visual guidance. The few assets we had needed to be developed further to be usable.
Past designing all of the graphics we needed, elements also had to be conceived that existed in more than two dimensions. Cladding solutions had to be addressed. Press ready mechanicals would need to be prepared.
No problem.
Below are examples of the iterative process used to create layouts and 3D displays, the renders created from models, and the mechanicals used to bring this project off the screen and into the physical world.
