Did anything go wrong?
I asked myself today,
As I walked along
In the sunshine's ray.
The world seemed so peaceful
And everything in place,
No sign of a chaos
Or even a trace.
But then I remembered
The troubles of the past,
The mistakes I've made
And the pain that will last.
I thought of the times
I fell and hit the ground,
When I failed to see
The beauty all around.
But then I realized
That everything's okay,
For mistakes are lessons
That help us find our way.
And even though things
May not go as planned,
We can learn from our errors
And take a new stand.
So did anything go wrong?
Perhaps, but that's alright,
For it's the struggles we face
That help us shine so bright.
