Digital Currency Group needed a pixel-perfect Webflow implementation of their new marketing website based on an existing Figma design.

The biggest challenge was building an interactive portfolio showcasing 200+ blockchain companies. Users needed to filter companies instantly using multiple cross-linked categories, while maintaining a seamless experience across desktop and mobile.

At the time, Webflow CMS struggled to reliably handle a collection of this size and complexity, making a standard CMS implementation impractical.

I translated the Figma design into a fully responsive Webflow website while ensuring every interaction matched the original design.

To overcome Webflow's CMS limitations, I developed a custom solution using the MixItUp JavaScript library. Instead of relying on a large CMS collection, the portfolio was rebuilt using static content, enabling fast, reliable client-side filtering without compromising the user experience.

Special attention was given to the filtering interface, adapting its behavior and layout for smaller screens so users could navigate hundreds of portfolio companies just as easily on mobile as on desktop.
