Project Overview

Title: Bedrock Dairy - a marketing site for an ag-tech startup
Project type: Web Design + Development Timeline: ~7 days Stack: Next.js 16, TypeScript, Tailwind v4, Framer Motion, Resend, Vercel
The brief
A dairy tech startup needed their first real online presence, a marketing site to capture waitlist signups before a public launch. They had a reference site they admired (a high-end robotics company), warm brand colours, and a strong opinion that WordPress wouldn't do.
What I built
A custom four-page Next.js site with the polish of a premium agency build:
A homepage hero with full-bleed background video and a letter-by-letter brand reveal that drops in on page load
A full-screen overlay menu with image previews that crossfade as you hover each nav item
A pinned-scroll storytelling section on the Technology page — three steps revealed sequentially, image left and text right, swapping in sync as the user scrolls
An animated footer with an oversized brand wordmark that rises into view as you scroll to it
A working waitlist form with spam protection, validation, and real email delivery
Fully responsive, accessible, and performant, Lighthouse mobile scores: Performance 96, Accessibility 96, Best Practices 96, SEO 100
What I solved
The reference site set a high visual bar. Replicating that level of motion design on a small-budget timeline meant making smart compromises: leaning on Framer Motion patterns I'd refined elsewhere, keeping video assets tightly compressed without losing quality, and treating animations as part of the design system rather than decoration.
A specific challenge worth calling out: the pinned-scroll section needed careful threshold tuning so the text and image transitions stayed in sync across scroll speeds. It went through two rounds of refinement before it felt right.
The outcome
Live on a custom domain, deployed via Vercel, with the waitlist form delivering real submissions. Client is using it as their public surface during pre-launch. Need a similar website for your AI startup/agency? SEND ME A DM NOW!

Developed a marketing site for Bedrock Dairy using Next.js and other modern tools. They wanted the look and feel of a high-end robotics site as their reference.
