How Nine Degree moved from WordPress to Webflow with a faster, more flexible website built to support complex interactions.
Nine Degree partnered with Makora Studio to migrate their website from WordPress to Webflow while preserving design intent and elevating performance. The goal was not a redesign, but a technically sound rebuild that delivered smoother animations, better maintainability, and a more scalable front-end setup.
Our role focused entirely on Webflow development, content migration, and solving platform-level limitations without compromising the original visual direction.
Challenges
The project presented technical constraints that required custom solutions beyond native Webflow capabilities.
Nine Degree’s website relied heavily on complex animations and interaction logic that pushed Webflow’s native tools to their limits. In addition, large portions of the site content were previously managed through WordPress in ways that did not translate cleanly into Webflow CMS structures.
Key challenges included:
Recreating advanced animations without performance drops
Working around Webflow CMS limitations for non-standard content structures
Migrating existing WordPress content accurately without breaking layout or interactions
The priority was precision. The site needed to behave exactly as intended, remain easy to manage, and load fast across devices.
Results
We delivered a focused brand system and a conversion-driven website designed to clearly communicate Nine Degree’s value.
