Bringing Brand Identity to Spekit: A White Labeling Solution for Enterprise Clients

For many enterprise clients, brand consistency across their tools and platforms is essential. Without the ability to customize Spekit to align with their visual identity, potential customers were hesitant to adopt the product fully. Spekit’s lack of white labeling posed a significant barrier, as organizations wanted the platform to feel like a natural extension of their own brand. To address this need, I designed and implemented white-labeling functionality that allows clients to seamlessly integrate their branding into the Spekit experience.

To transform Spekit into a customizable platform, I developed a solution that enables clients to apply their own branding elements throughout both the web application and Chrome extension. This includes the ability to customize:

Logos and Icons: Clients can incorporate their own logos, replacing Spekit’s branding for a personalized experience.

Color Schemes and Themes: Using a primary brand color, I created a system that generates a matching color palette, ensuring that all elements on the platform feel cohesive. This tailored design system extends to the Chrome extension, providing a unified brand experience across all touchpoints.

This feature was designed with usability in mind, allowing clients to apply and adjust their branding with ease, even without advanced technical knowledge.

The introduction of white-labeling capabilities brought immediate and measurable benefits to Spekit, especially for our enterprise segment:

Client Adoption: The new feature became a powerful differentiator, contributing to increased adoption among large customers. Since its release for 157 customers, many of them have adopted white-labeling, including major players like Southwest Airlines, Ibotta, Equifax, and GitLab.

Enhanced Engagement and User Satisfaction: By allowing clients to make the platform their own, user trust in the product grew significantly, leading to higher engagement and satisfaction scores. Users felt more at home with a platform that visually aligned with their organization, reducing the learning curve and enhancing the overall user experience.
