Down With Detroit wanted to relaunch their business with a brand new and best-in-class website to sell clothing and merch to Detroit sports fans across the world.

DWD wanted a robust platform to be able to sell products via Shopify as well as publish content using a best-in-class CMS. Shopify is great as a pure e-commerce platform, but is a poor solution for creating a comprehensive blog. Webflow is great at creating a comprehensive blog, but a poor solution for selling products with many tags and variations.

Using Webflow as the core website foundation, I built the website with a custom configured Content Management System for blogging and events. I then used Smootify as the bridge to connect their Webflow site to their Shopify product backend. This allowed me to funnel their products into Webflow to allow me to build a fully functioning e-commerce store directly in Webflow that is powered by Shopify products/checkout.
