For this early-stage startup, I worked closely with a colleague to restructure their monolithic backend to a microservices architecture, significantly enhancing the platform's scalability and performance. We also improved front-end functionality, providing users with a smoother, more responsive experience. This three-month engagement required in-depth work with AWS services, Kafka for data streaming, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, and culminated in a resilient, scalable infrastructure built for growth.
