The challenge
Tusk & Quill, a thought-focused publication, wanted to increase the frequency of its Instagram content while preserving the considered tone and visual quality of its long-form discussions.
The source material needed to be reshaped for social: stronger pacing, clearer audio, readable on-screen text, and a consistent format for future posts.
The approach
I turned existing presentations and conversations into a cohesive social content system over a short period.
My work included:
Editing 4 Instagram Reels from existing presentations
Reformatting a long-form presentation for a more engaging social format
Improving audio clarity for easier listening
Adding and refining titles, subtitles, and visual hierarchy
Supporting the redesign of a partially completed carousel
Establishing editing conventions and templates to make future content more consistent
I worked closely with the client on Reel design, using feedback to refine pacing, clip selection, text treatment, and visual presentation while keeping the publication’s brand in view.

The result
The 1-month trial led to continued work and an expanded role creating additional Reels. The client specifically identified higher-quality Reel production as a strength of the collaboration.
