When my mom started to develop "Tinea Joyas", her handmade silver jewelry brand, we started to need a good product photo to show the design and quality. As an artist, I took the challenge to develope a portfolio and digital content for her catalogue and social media.
Problem & Solution 🤝
We needed to find a visual identity that matched the spirit of the brand and that allowed us to work from home. With few elements, we needed to register all the products, and to be able to replicate the aesthetics in an easy and natural way.
When I started this challenge, I wanted to do three things:
• Involve nature and her sources of inspiration.
• Create a coherent visual identity that reflected the quality of her work.
• Use models to show the jewelry in use.
Process 🛣
Whith some trial and error I found a simple, yet suitable way to take this pictures. Our little studio became my photography set and my mom and I became models. This way, every time there is a new jewelry piece, we only need a couple of hours, some plants, rocks and fabric to achieve a new product image.
Results 🎁
In the end, I got to develope the visual identity of the brand's product photography in a simple and effective way. Nowadays, even though a marketing company manages the content, they still align with the chosen aesthetic and simplicity of my work.
