3D Illustration and Rendering

Client: FUR In this latest project, I was tasked with creating a series of 3D illustration icons. The goal was to make icons that are attractive and suitable for a children's mood, as per the client's request.

The process began with brainstorming and designing the icons in 2D using Adobe Illustrator. At this stage, I focused on cheerful and engaging shapes and colors to capture children's attention. Each icon was designed with detail to ensure a smooth transition to 3D.

After the 2D designs were approved, I started creating 3D models of each icon using Blender. This was the most challenging stage as I had to maintain the essence and mood of the original 2D design while adding dimensions and details to bring them to life in 3D. I used various modeling and sculpting techniques in Blender to achieve optimal results.

Once the 3D models were completed, the next step was to apply appropriate textures and materials. These textures were then applied to the models in Blender to give them an appealing final look.

One of the main challenges in this project was integrating the 3D images into real photos. I ensured that the lighting, shadows, and perspectives on the 3D models matched the elements in the real photos to create a harmonious and natural final result.

The final stage was rendering. I used Blender’s rendering engine to produce high-quality final images. This process involved setting up lighting, camera angles, and various rendering parameters to ensure the final result met the client's expectations.

After the initial rendering, I sent the results to the client for feedback. Based on the client's input, I made the necessary revisions to ensure all the icons matched their vision and desires. Once revisions were complete, I did the final rendering and delivered the results to the client.

This project was an enjoyable challenge because I had to combine 2D and 3D design skills to create icons that are attractive and suitable for a children's mood. The end result was a series of stunning 3D illustrations that met the client's expectations.
