Introduction:

Aether Wave is a sound design and audio branding company seeking a strong, modern, and versatile logo to represent its unique identity in the creative industry. The client requested a sleek, minimal design that feels futuristic while remaining clean and professional.

The brand's color palette was based on bold contrast:

#FFFFFF (White): Clarity, modern tone

#2C2C2B (Metal Black): Depth, elegance, and strength

The logo was to be versatile enough to be used on digital platforms, branding mockups, and merchandise.

Design Goal:

To create a visually compelling, clean, modern symbol that reflects Aether Wave’s focus on professional sound design with a futuristic edge — while keeping the logo simple, elegant, and memorable.

My Approach:

~ Started with concept sketching for the letter "A" and "W" fusion while representing sound waves abstractly.

~ Imported the concept to Adobe Illustrator to build a clean vector structure.

~ Integrated fluid motion-inspired curves and minimalist geometry to reflect audio movement.

~ Chose a black circular backdrop to anchor the logo, enhancing visual depth.

~ Applied the color palette for strong visual contrast and modern appeal.

~ Used mockups to visualize real-world application.

~ Delivered the final logo in PDF, PNG, JPEG, and transparent formats.

Final Output:

The final design features a custom-shaped "V" embedded with motion-style waveforms, symbolizing movement and frequency — a direct representation of the brand’s niche. The high-contrast black and white theme adds boldness and timeless professionalism.
