Foodpulse: Discover Recipes, and Culinary Inspirations Web App

Project Overview Foodpulse is a web app built for food enthusiasts to discover recipes, find restaurant recommendations, and get inspired. As the only developer, I handled everything from frontend architecture to deployment, ensuring a smooth, visually engaging, and fast experience for users.

Built the frontend with Next.js and Tailwind CSS for a clean, responsive UI that loads quickly.

Designed a database with PostgreSQL to efficiently manage recipes, and user preferences.

Set up cloud hosting on AWS with Docker for a smooth, scalable deployment process.

Integrated necessary endpoints to provide users with fresh, dynamic content and personalized recommendations.

Impact Working solo on Foodpulse gave me the chance to dive deep into the full stack, delivering a fast, intuitive app that’s been well-received for its simplicity and design. This project was a great opportunity to hone my skills in building scalable, user-focused web applications.
