The process begins with understanding the brand’s values, audience pain points, and emotional triggers. From there, I craft compelling narratives that blend emotional appeal with strategic messaging. Every post is optimised for visual clarity and engagement, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s aesthetic while driving meaningful interactions.

Brand Story

Before: The brand had a mission statement, but it lacked depth and emotional connection. It wasn’t formatted in a way that engaged the audience.
After: The story was rewritten with a personal, authentic tone, making it more relatable. A compelling opening was added, followed by a clear, inspiring message and bolded parts to engage the audience.
Objective: Strengthen the brand’s emotional connection with its audience and create an engaging introduction for new followers, while sticking to brand’s minimal style.
Strategy: I used personal storytelling techniques, incorporated visual hierarchy, structured the content in a narrative format, and ensured the visuals complemented the story.
Key Takeaways: Audiences connect with stories, not just statements. A well-crafted brand story builds trust and makes the brand feels more human.

Before & After Post Optimisation

Before: The infographic lacked a clear visual hierarchy, used text that did not convey empathy or support, and featured language that catered primarily to highly online audiences. Additionally, the message was neither clear nor engaging, and the design failed to stand out. The color scheme could have been better aligned with the brand’s identity.
After: I restructured the content to enhance readability and emotional impact. The messaging was refined for clarity and accessibility, icons were incorporated to improve digestibility, and the brand’s tone was reinforced. Additionally, the layout was optimized for a more visually appealing presentation using strategic formatting and line breaks.
Objective: Enhance engagement, readability, and resonance while maintaining the brand’s authenticity.
Strategy: To achieve this, I adjusted the formatting, emphasized key messages, integrated brand-aligned colors and clean typography, and refined the text to ensure greater empathy and accessibility. The post was structured for effortless skimming while preserving emotional depth through stronger visuals.
Key Takeaway: Small refinements in design and copy can significantly enhance a post’s impact. A well-structured, visually compelling post is more likely to capture attention, foster engagement, and encourage sharing.

Community Testimonial

Before: The testimonial was just plain text, lengthy and lacked engagement elements. It didn’t feel personal or visually compelling.
After: The post was restructured into a storytelling format and an engaging short-form video. The attendees’ voice was amplified through engaging copy, and a visual element was added (quote design, and an engaging reel format).
Objective: Increase social proof for Screen-Free Saturday, build trust, and encourage more community-driven interactions for Screen-Free Saturday.
Strategy: I highlighted the transformation journey, used relatable language, and paired it with a high-quality, emotion-driven visual and icons. A CTA was included to encourage and promote Screen-Free Saturday in a tone that aligned with the brand’s voice.
Key Takeaways: Testimonials should feel like stories rather than just reviews. Adding visuals and structuring them as engaging narratives makes them significantly more impactful.

Campaign Storytelling Case Study

Before: The brand wanted to launch a campaign for the month of January to commemorate the New Year, but they lacked direction. The content wasn’t structured to encourage community participation.
After: I developed a multi-content, and multi-channel campaign called “New Beginnings”, where the focus was dealing with burnout, setting realistic goals and encouraging self-care. The content included personal stories, expert insights, and audience participation elements (e.g., question prompts, user-generated content challenges).
Objective: Drive awareness, engagement, and brand credibility while fostering a deeper community connection.
Strategy: I created a storytelling framework for each post, ensuring every piece resonated emotionally while maintaining educational value. I worked and improved the formats and layout of the contents to make it less repetitive, building up from the samples. The content mix included personal stories, myth-busting posts, interactive stories, and a campaign hashtag.
