In today's fast-paced digital world, mental wellness professionals – including psychologists, therapists, coaches, and wellbeing coaches – need more than just a website; they need a digital sanctuary. For this project, our mission was to create an online presence for Dr. Lena Hayes, a clinical psychologist specializing in mindfulness and performance coaching, that felt as calm, intelligent, and trustworthy as her practice. Our goal was to build a space that would not only inform but also immediately begin the healing process for visitors seeking clarity.

Our Approach: Crafting "A Place for the Mind"

Our design philosophy was built on three core pillars:

Serene Sophistication: Creating a visually calm, uncluttered, and premium aesthetic that inspires confidence.

Human-Centered Design: Ensuring every element, from typography to imagery, felt warm, empathetic, and approachable.

Intuitive Clarity: Building a seamless user journey that guides the visitor from curiosity to connection without any friction.

Visual Identity & Design System

Typography: We developed a sophisticated typographic system to balance professionalism with a personal touch. Lora, a classic serif, was chosen for headings (H1, H2, H3) to convey wisdom and authority. For other headings (H4, H5, H6) and body text, we utilized Inter, a modern, highly-readable sans-serif. Taglines are set in Lora Italic for a subtle, elegant accent.

Color Palette: The color palette is grounded in earthy, organic tones. The primary background, #E8D5C4, is a warm, calming greige, reminiscent of natural linen or stone. This is complemented by a deep, organic "black," #2C3E37, which carries the weight of the text, creating a palette that is both grounding and uplifting.

The User Experience: A Guided Journey, Powered by Framer Expertise

The website is designed as a single, continuous journey that mirrors the therapeutic process itself. As a Framer expert, I leveraged Framer's powerful capabilities to build a truly dynamic and responsive platform. This included creating custom components to ensure a unique and tailored user experience.

The Homepage acts as the initial consultation, guiding the user through Dr. Hayes's philosophy, services, and FAQs in a logical, flowing narrative.

CMS-driven Service Pages allow for a deep dive into specific areas of expertise, providing detailed information for those ready to explore further.

Micro-interactions and subtle animations are used purposefully to enhance the feeling of a responsive, living space, creating a digital experience that feels as mindful and considered as Dr. Hayes's practice.
