High-End Skincare Cinematography: Vaseline Commercial Spot Project Overview This project is a 100% speculative (spec) piece developed exclusively for my creative portfolio. It is not an official commission or affiliated with the Vaseline brand. My objective was to demonstrate advanced visual conceptualization, AI video prompt engineering, and precise art direction by elevating an everyday skincare essential into a luxury cinematic experience.

The Creative Vision I engineered a 15-second commercial spot defined by strict visual constraints: 8 precision hard-cut shots, zero transitions, and a persistent pure black background. The lighting design utilizes extreme low-key illumination, relying on a single hard key light and delicate rim separation with deep black falloff to create a premium, moody atmosphere.

Technical & Visual Execution The focus of this spot is absolute physical accuracy and material realism.

The Packaging: Complex camera movements including lateral slides and slow orbits were used to capture the translucent white plastic jar body, the deep blue screw-on lid, and the sharp packaging graphics of the Vaseline Original Skin Protecting Jelly.

The Product: The climax of the sequence features an extreme macro drift across the surface of the jelly itself. By utilizing a shallow depth of field, the prompt captures the creamy reflections and glossy highlights of the smooth texture, making the product feel tactile and expensive.
