When The Grid Waves approached me, they were doing some incredible branding work for D2C clients but all their business came through Instagram referrals and DMs. As they raised their rates and aimed for bigger clients, that lack of a proper website became a real problem. They looked early-stage online, which didn’t match the quality or value of their work.
I knew this wasn’t about “just making a website.” This was about building a strategic, premium digital presence that did three things:
Filtered out low-budget leads before calls
Built instant trust with founders and decision-makers
Streamlined the inquiry process so only serious prospects came through
My Approach
The first thing I did was study how top global branding studios positioned themselves what worked, what didn’t, and how founders actually browse and evaluate agencies. I noticed a common gap: many looked visually great but lacked clarity, messaging, and a clear funnel for serious prospects.
So I set out to design something sharper, a site that feels premium, speaks with authority, and guides the right prospects to reach out.
I designed the entire experience in Figma, ensuring every section had a purpose:
Scroll-guided storytelling to communicate their expertise and value.
Clear, intentional calls-to-action, nothing buried, everything designed to guide the right founders to take the next step.
Integrated their Notion workflow into the contact process, so inquiries land exactly where they manage their projects.
Once the design direction was locked, I developed the site in Framer ensuring it’s fully responsive, fast, and easily editable by their team without needing a developer for every tweak.
The Outcome
