Nuviva Medical Weight Loss

[ Site Redesign & Migration to Framer ]

▹ The Challenge

Nuviva runs ten clinics across Florida, and each one lives or dies on local search. The existing site had roughly 16 months of accumulated SEO equity across hundreds of URLs, and the client's biggest fear was a rebuild that threw it away.
Three things made the project harder than a standard redesign:
Ten locations, one brand. Every clinic needed its own hero, headlines and booking path, but the team could not afford to hand-maintain ten separate pages.
Regulated content. Weight-loss and GLP-1 marketing draws FTC attention, and branded and compounded treatments need different disclosures.
Patients of every ability. The audience includes people managing health conditions, so the site had to work with a keyboard, a screen reader and a phone.

▹ The Approach

1. Lock the URL architecture before designing anything

Before I opened the canvas, I mapped the ten legacy location URLs and rebuilt them in the Framer CMS so each one resolves to exactly the same address as before: /medical-weight-loss/weight-loss-clinic-in-{city}, covering Boca Raton, Cape Coral, Coral Springs, Fort Myers, Lake Mary, Melbourne, Naples, Orlando, Punta Gorda and Tampa. The result is zero redirects on the location pages. Any URL that had to change got a documented 301, and the client personally tested every legacy URL before cutover.

2. One template, ten locations

I built a single location template driven by a CMS collection. Each clinic carries its own hero image or video, its own H1, H2 and H3 copy, and its own address, hours and booking details, while shared sections such as the "Why Nuviva" differentiators, FAQs and calls to action stay global. A new clinic page is now a CMS entry, not a design job.
Booking calls to action are conditional. Each location can switch its own CTAs on or off, and they connect to Calendly, so a clinic that is not yet taking online bookings never shows a dead button.

3. A treatments system that scales

Treatments such as NAD+, Glutathione, Tri-Immune and Vitamin D3 share one CMS template. A flexible array of title-and-body cards lets the same layout handle a single medication or a multi-part program, and a category field switches which sections appear. The result is consistent pages without forcing every treatment into the same mold.

4. Compliance built into the CMS

I added a branded-versus-compounded toggle so the right disclosure appears automatically on applicable treatment pages, instead of relying on someone remembering to type it. Copy avoids outcome guarantees and unverified claims, and clinical content goes through physician sign-off before publishing.

5. Accessibility as the baseline

Every custom component and code edit was built to WCAG 2.1 AA from the first draft: semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, visible focus states, sufficient color contrast, 44px touch targets, 16px minimum form text so iOS does not zoom, and prefers-reduced-motion support. Optional fields hide their elements when empty, so editors can never publish an empty heading or link by accident.

6. A visual language that fits the brand

The design draws on a molecular theme, with teal and white line icons and clean card layouts, so the clinical content feels approachable and the ten locations read as one brand.

▹The Result

The new Nuviva site is live, and the team can now run all ten clinic pages from one CMS.
No lost search equity from URL changes. All ten location URLs kept their exact paths, with no redirects needed.
Faster updates. Changing a clinic's hero, headlines or booking path is a CMS edit, not a rebuild.
Safer content. Disclosures and booking buttons respond to field settings, so pages cannot drift out of compliance by accident.
Built for everyone. The site was built to WCAG 2.1 AA from the first component.
