"A normal Weekend in London"

The Concept The goal was to create something that initially feels completely real.
The film follows a young woman through an apparently ordinary day in London, filmed entirely from the perspective of her boyfriend using an imperfect handheld camera.
There is no traditional cinematic language, no polished commercial framing and no obvious “AI look”.
The viewer is simply watching a personal memory.
Then suddenly something change... The Creative Challenge
The biggest challenge was not generating individual shots.
It was maintaining the illusion that the entire film had been captured by the same person, with the same camera, following the same character throughout the entire experience.
The character needed to remain visually consistent across radically different environments, while the camera language remained grounded and documentary-like.
The film also required the transition from realistic contemporary London Character & Visual Consistency
The main character was generated from a reference image and kept consistent throughout the film.
Facial identity, hairstyle, facial features, body proportions and overall appearance were treated as fixed elements.
The camera was deliberately kept imperfect: handheld movement, natural autofocus, exposure changes, motion blur and occasional framing imperfections were used to reinforce the feeling of genuine personal footage. My Role

Tools:

Seedance 2.5
DaVinci Resolve
Plumber (our proprietary pipeline orchestrator in closed beta)
Final Result
A deliberately deceptive AI short film designed to make the viewer accept the footage as real before progressively breaking that assumption.
The objective was not to make AI footage look like AI.
