When approached to redesign, develop and deliver a scalable, responsive, CMS Enabled, SEO optimized, digital portal for a local Non-Profit with a soft launch in 2 months including over 100+ screens, I said sure. No problem (lie). The old site was riddled with problems in information architecture, broken links, un-optimized for mobile, ancient CMS and disconnecting with current brand guidelines; a smoking "train-wreck."
I worked with main stakeholders to uncover the site's purpose, target audience, information architecture and extended their print brand guidelines to include this digital application. We then tailored existing content to fit the new sitemap's structure, leaving room for desired future expansions.
